Natural Futurism is Jacob Mathias’ first solo exhibition following his education at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design (KADK). Through his vibrant and colourful approach to industrial techniques and materials, Jacob Mathias makes sculptural structures come alive. His work is characterised by an organic geometry, suggesting a type of futuristic art-nouveau aesthetic. For Natural Futurism Jacob Mathias exhibits a selection of his most recent work - among others a translucent chandelier of plexiglass and sand, along with organic, sculptural objects lacquered in automotive paint.
